Beginning in Life Sciences by helping MAHs in fulfilling serialization requirements on the shop floors globally, his recent activities consisted of supporting transformational programs to enhance patient centricity within the medical device industry, including wearables and implants. Since 2023, he is spearheading NNIT's customer engagement across strategic accounts' IT departments and line of business. His goal is to assist leading pharmaceutical manufacturers in becoming more data-centric by focusing on holistic standardization and demonstrating a strong commitment to collaboration with stakeholders across domain borders, leading to lower cost of quality, improved production efficiency, and streamlined compliance activities.
With 25 years of experience and numerous roles Carsten is a true master of digital manufacturing in pharma and biotech industries. He has worked in depth with all major production modalities and application types. With a background in biochemical engineering and software development he has been leading development of advanced automation and PAT solutions before working as a domain architect, pharma MES specialist, and MES program manager.
Carsten is advisory director with NNIT Manufacturing and Supply Chain where he is heavily involved in client projects and heading development of NNIT MES consulting services.
