José Antoranz holds an MSc in Engineering and an MBA from IESE Business School. He began his career at an engineering firm, executing projects in the Middle East and South America. After completing his MBA, he transitioned into the digital technology sector, first as a consultant and later as Digital Manufacturing Manager at J&J. His main focus is the implementation of digital tools to improve the efficiency of manufacturing sites. He is also part of the management team of the automation group, overseeing various automation levels at factories on-site.
With over 15 years of international experience in digital transformation and technology strategy, José has established himself as a leader in global digital manufacturing.
As Automation Leader, José manages a team of engineers working on implementing MES in the Netherlands as part of its transition to a cloud-based solution. Additionally, he leads the digital manufacturing team, which is focused on developing the strategy to make the site fully digital.
After living in various countries, he has since returned to the Netherlands. José is passionate about his family and is an avid sailor and chess player. He currently coaches his son José Jr.'s football team and, as a personal goal, is training to cross the Atlantic on a sailing boat. He is also a sports enthusiast, having completed several marathons in the Netherlands and Spain.
