Aleksandar Bozovic currently serves as the Head of Global Project Management at STADA Global Engineering. He holds a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Belgrade. Additionally, he is a Certified Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB), a Project Management Professional (PMP®), and a Scrum Master (SMAC).
With over 27 years of experience in engineering and tech-operations, Aleksandar has a wealth of multinational experience in Project Management. He has successfully executed numerous complex projects within the STADA Group on a global scale. His portfolio includes significant initiatives such as the New Packaging Centre, as well as projects that necessitate a high level of integration between equipment and IT systems, including SAP, serialization systems, material flow control for warehouses, and MES.

He is passionate about new topics and projects that bring benefits and innovative technologies to the group, particularly in the realm of digital transformation within the pharmaceutical industry.

This session will present a real-world case of a successful implementation of a smart paperless plant. The core of the smart paperless plant is a modular MES platform integrated with ERP and the shop floor, which allows users to work in a fully digital environment. The session will present key elements of strategic and operational perspectives of project execution. It will then explore how using standard software modules and agile approach to system integration coupled with expertise in shopfloor processes and technologies enabled successful implementation in a short time schedule.
